Our Lady of the Rosary Higher Secondary School, Dona Paula, solemnly celebrated its Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–2027, on 15th July 2026, formally inducting the newly elected Student Council into their positions of leadership and service.
The programme commenced with a prayer service, followed by the welcome of the dignitaries and the ceremonial escort of the Student Council members. The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Maria George Fernandes, Sarpanch of Taleigao Village Panchayat, whose inspiring journey in public service served as a motivating example for the young leaders.
The highlight of the ceremony was the conferring of badges and sashes upon the newly elected office bearers by the Chief Guest, the School Manager, Sr. Brijit Yojeph D’Souza, and the Principal, Sr. Manisha Parmar. The Student Council then took the Oath of Office, pledging to lead with integrity, responsibility, and dedication.
In her address, the Chief Guest inspired the students to embrace leadership with courage, honesty, and compassion, reminding them that true leaders work for the good of others.
The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, the management, staff, parents, and everyone who contributed to the success of the event. The programme marked the beginning of a new chapter of responsible student leadership, inspiring all to serve with dedication and become true ambassadors of the school’s values.
