The consumer club of Our Lady of the Rosary Higher Secondary School, Dona Paula organized the following activities for the students.
1) TALK ON- “ROAD SAFETY”:by theDeputy Superintendent Mr. Salim Shaikh.
A video on Importance of road safety measures was screened.
Through the PowerPoint presentation he enlightened the students on the necessity of different signs and symbols of road safety. Pamphlets with regards to road safety were also distributed to the students.
2) HEALTHY SALAD MAKING COMPETITION:The competition was an online competition for the students of standard XI. The main focus of this competition was on the efficient use of OnlyPulsesand Cereals in the making of the Salad. The students had to make a video on the ingredients used to prepare the salad. The criterion for judging was based on the overall presentation, benefits of the salad and creativity.
The first prize was bagged by Doris Goves, Krishnendu Vithal and Shabana Bagewadi secured the second place, Anora Tavares and Shebna Talwar the third place. Yogita Guruswami and Adwiti Shirodkar secured the third place.
