To celebrate the joyous spirit of Christmas and commemorate 150 years of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, the students of Class 11 Arts organized a meaningful visit to Peace Haven School for Special Children on 15 December 2025
The visit was undertaken under the guidance and presence of Principal Sister Manisha Parmar, accompanied by Class Teacher Ms. Manjiri Salgaokar, Student Councillor Ms. Tabitha Lobo, and Ms. Sucheta Pai.
The programme began with a prayer service, invoking God’s blessings and reflecting on the values of love, compassion, and service upheld by the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary. The students then spread Christmas cheer by singing carols, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness.
A highlight of the visit was the warm interaction between the students and the special children. Through conversations, smiles, and shared moments, the students experienced the true essence of Christmas — giving, sharing, and embracing everyone with kindness and respect.
The visit proved to be a deeply enriching experience, leaving the students inspired and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate Christmas in a meaningful way while honouring the noble mission and legacy of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary.
