The Cultural Committee of Our Lady of the Rosary Higher Secondary School vibrantly celebrated the feast of St. John the Baptist, popularly known as São João, by organizing a traditional Kopel-Making Competition.
A total of 16 students participated in the competition. Students had to use locally grown flowers and seasonal fruits to craft their headgears.
The competition was judged by our very own Laboratory Assistants Ms. Merelena Noronha and Ms. Sandra Silveira.
The programme began with a prayer and a PPT by Class XII SCI on Saõ João followed by
Students parading and dancing on stage with their kopels.The judges expressed their views on the Kopels. They faced a tough time judging the competition as every student put in their best.
The event concluded with the singing of the School Anthem.
