The NSS Unit of Our Lady of the Rosary Higher Secondary School, Dona Paula – Goa proudly participated in “एक राखी सैनिकांसाठी”, an initiative of Chaitanya Pratishthan-Goa, organised on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan at Lok Bhavan, Dona Paula.
The initiative is a heartfelt expression of patriotism, national pride and gratitude towards our brave Jawans who safeguard our nation. The Rakhis collected from students were presented to be sent to our soldiers at the borders. 🇮🇳
The programme was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Hon. Rajendra Arlekar, Governor of Tamil Nadu and Kerala; Hon. Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Governor of Goa and Chief Guest; actor Yogesh Soman, Keynote Speaker; and eminent industrialist and Padma Shri awardee Smt. Shashi Soni.
Representing our institution at the programme were our NSS volunteers Sakshi Kurvatti, Tamanna Zunjam, Sakku Naik, Mubeen Mulla and Nutan Kankonkar, accompanied by NSS Programme Officer Dr. Deepti D. Chatin Aldonkar.
Rakhis presented with love, respect and gratitude to our soldiers.
