Our Lady of the Rosary Higher Secondary School, Dona Paula, participated in the Goa Revolution Day programme held at Azad Maidan on 18th June 2026. A total of 17 students attended the event commemorating the 80th anniversary of Goa Revolution Day.
The students witnessed the official programme and visited the exhibition on Goa’s Freedom Struggle, gaining valuable insights into the sacrifices and contributions of freedom fighters in Goa’s liberation movement. They also had the opportunity to interact with Shri Rohidas Desai, President of the Goa Freedom Fighters Association, who shared his experiences and thoughts on preserving the legacy of Goa’s freedom movement.
The visit aimed to inculcate the values of freedom, patriotism, and respect for the great souls who sacrificed their lives in the pursuit of Goa’s liberation. The programme served as a meaningful educational experience, helping students appreciate the significance of Goa’s history and heritage. The visit was organised by Ms. Sucheta Pai and assisted by Mr. Christopher.
