The Cultural committee of Our lady of the Rosary Higher Secondary School organised a Kopel making Competition on the Feast Day of St John the Baptist (São João). The students made traditional Kopels using locally grown flowers and fruits. There were 34 participants in total each displaying their own creativity. Ms Sunita George gave the students tips on how they could make their Kopels better by pre- deciding how to arrange the flowers and fruits in a more attractive way. The competition was judged by Ms. Sunita George and Ms. Sandra Silveira.
