A nature trail was organised sor the students of Our Lady Of The Rosary H.S.S Dona Paula on 3rd September 2024 under the Vasundhara Eco club by in charge teacher Mrs.Sujata N.Nayak. The purpose of this nature trail was to throw seed bombs prepared by the students usung local seeds of fruit bearing trees like Jackfruit, Jamun, tamarind, Sitaphal, Ramphal, egg fruit, Kokum, Tirfala etc.
280 seed bombs were thrown in three different places of North Goa viz Curca, Bambolim and Siridao.
This is the second year of the Vasundhara Eco club’s green mission of a small effort in preserving Goa’s biodiversity through aerial reforestation using seed bombs.
The fun filled activity was a rich learning experience for the students and they participated with a great zeal and enthusiasm.
